Spring arrives and the difficult work begins. Filling ruts in the dirt road which is a pretty dirty job…and difficult…. and then mowing, mowing and weeding weeding. Our hours of work were rewarded with the following photographs. At the end of the day, after many frustrating hours of work and completely exhausted muscles, we look around and we take in the pure magnificent beauty of Blue Skye. We are thankful for the pure innocent bloom of the first roses and the sweet surrendering fragrance of the lilac shrub in full bloom. Last year there was not one single lilac bloom and this year there are hundreds.
